People are lucky that Starbucks doesn't charge by the syllable.

Before this thread continues to wind down new or old roads,

    1) @hungariansteven and @MLSinCleveland, thanks for sharing your stories, guys. While some folks may paint us all as a place of huge jackwads, at the core we all embody those sort of experiences.

    2) The discussion on coffee reminds me of what I remember to be an early topic I actually bonded with some of you on. Years ago. Way back when. Hot, black coffee.

My day goes the way of coffee. Depending on which project location, I bring extra coffee if I know no coffee can be found on site. I have a Keurig in my individual office. A Starbucks has business in the Polsky Building. Yet, I cannot justify buying coffee there. Once a year, maybe.

On the other hand, Tim has the Starbucks app, and boy he loves his americanos. So I buy him gift cards for GE to load into the app. I better at least get Fuel Perks for that overpriced stuff.

I drink cola far less often than you do, but I also go with real sugar cola. Usually Boylan because it has no sodium (don't want to waste much, if any, sodium allotment on a beverage).

Even I will have to agree with Timon on this one. But it is not Real Bilbo's fault he live in a nuclear waste dump known as Cincinnati and this could alter your taste.

Diet Mountain Dew? What’s the point?

    It’s like a low-calorie Twinkie.

Diet anything, what's the point? *

    * - yes, I know, diabetes and other such things. Artificial sweeteners are vile. Like BigSoccer.

You get used to it (somewhat) after a while. I dropped considerable pounds (at least 25) just by getting sugary drinks out of my diet. Splenda is tolerable in coffee.

Question for the people that drink the Italian milk coffees (or the 2 creams, 2 sugars people). Does it really matter what kind/quality of espresso you use? It's still just gonna taste like hot milk.

Uh, no.... Splenda doesn't ferment well. But I tend to drink in moderation anyway. I've only hit two of my Christmas present beers so far.

Also, I've been slooooowly working my way through what's left of this (shared most of it at a Christmas party as I have buddies who like bourbon), that I got in September.

I also love LS jerseys. Does anyone recall if last years black were available in long sleeve? The online shops don't have any long sleeves available at all, despite having the 2017 yellows on clearance prices so they're clearly selling outdated stock which I know were available in long sleeve. I could have sworn I've seen people wearing them at the stadium but maybe they just had a long sleeve shirt on underneath. I was looking forward to copping a black long sleeve with Trapp on the back.
