Al Shabab won 3-2 over Esteglal.. so the qualified to the quarter final.
today, Al Hilal is gonna play aginst Bunyoudkor (UZB). it's not gonna be an easy game.. I hope whilly and Nevez are in the best mode :]

...and al-Hilal smack Bunyodkor upside the head: 3-0, FT.

Yes!! .. IMO this is the best hilali team since 2001!
Radoi - Thiago Neves - Wilhelmsson - Al Shalhoub - Yasser - Lee Yong pyo - Hawsawi - Marshadi ...
even if the performance wasn't that good.. but come on.. it's the last game in this season for Al Hilal!!

Well, Shabab are 1-0 down at half time.

The missing Ahmed Ateef is obvious. There's a huge gap between the defense and the attack which means Soengnam can easily disposses Shabab and control the tempo.

Oh yeah, this puts Shabab's leaky defense under a lot of pressure :(

I would have thought Usama will be kicked out, he gave the goal away that led to everyone's frustration.

Anyways good game I think both team played to their tactics and the better team won but shouldn't take away from Hilal. The only issue for me was the stupid fan with his laser pointer, what kind of fan can feel proud that their team scores by cheating?

Of course we get to keep it! Our teams always preform well in the competition. Two semi finalists is nothing to sneeze at.

Nopes... the defense was at fault ... Majid was not aware of the off-side trap ... Also, Yasser was not at his best while Al Hilal were mostly moving the ball either in the mid-field or were trying to penetrate the 10 man defense of Zob Ahan ... Imagine the first real threat came from Shalhoub in the 30th minute ... What Al Hilal should have had tried was to attempt / shoot from long distance on target ... may be they could have got the result what they were looking for... hard luck to Al Hilal ...

Frankly guys, Hilal needs a new Forward. If Yaser isn't fit or in good form there really aren't many top strikers in Hilal that can replace him. Nawaf Al Abed is good but he's still young.
