he's talking about science and technology, you give him stats about internet languages. Congrats, there are more arabs on this planet and thus more users on the net. But again, surfing for porn and other useless crap is not science and technology.

I already put up the stats about scientific publications. I am happy to provide you with stats regarding our industrial output as well. How about stats regarding car production. You guys aren't even on the list!

First of all, we're talking about Saudi Arabia, not Arabs. Secondly, having 65 million Arabic-speakers on the net, when there are actually more than 350 million Arabic-speakers in the world, is something you should be ashamed of, not bragging about. There were 28 million Internet users in Iran, which is 38 percent of the population, in 2009. The number is naturally higher now.

I'm useless because you can't debate or am I useless because you don't have anything to debate with?

anyways, I've got a funny video
lol at all the thumbs up hahaha
shows how scared and delusional you arabs are and where your priorities stand. Times like this I know that the Arab world will never advance and become like Iran and Turkey.

Way too many off-topic posts around here.:D

Anyway, can anyone tell me why the ACL is still played over 2 seasons? It's really confusing.

    because this is the AFC
Everything about this CL tournament is a ********ing joke.

1/16 round is only one leg and it also happens to be in one of the team's home grounds!

There is a 4 month off period between the 1/16 round and the 1/8

The final is played in one of the finalist's home grounds and that is chosen by a coin flip.

useless countries like the UAE have 4 teams in the tournament only because they have nice stadiums while good footballing nations have to sit out.

asking why is a waste of time when this thing is the president of AFC

These are the things which I really don't understand. The 1/16 round shouldn't be a single match, yes the team who qualified 1st must have some kind of reward, but making the tie a single match AND away from home can make things a little bit too difficult for the opposite team.

I agree with you on the rest of mentioned points above, but to be fair to Bin Hammam, I think he has done a decent job on improving the ACL since 2003, considering the level of professionalism in many countries involved in the competition.
