    Al-Fateh 1-2 Al-Ittihad
    Al-Ahli 1-0 Al-Raed (90th minute winner)

Stupid Itti couldn't keep a clean sheet, so not only do they win but I don't get any clean-sheet points for my fantasy team either. It's like they know exactly the worst case scenario for me.

Any reason why the Al Nasr - Al Hazm game has been cancelled today?

Seems that we'll see a nice fight between Ittihad and Shabab this year.

    Hilal as a 3rd force.

Al Hazm GK might have Swine Flu

    Wehda 2-2 Ittifaq
    Najran 1-3 Shabab
    Qadisiya 1-2 Hilal

Al Wehda were unlucky. Ittifaq were lucky not to make it out of that match without 4 goals in their net.

Flavio has already scored 2 goals in one game, a very dangerous sign for the other teams. Also Shabab missed Tareq AlTaib and the Australian DMF in this game.

Al Hazem's goalie officially has swine flu, but he seems alright and will stay in the hospital for 5 days.

I don't think it will be easy for Al Shabab.

Al Wehda completely dominated Al Ittifaq in their first match and were VERY unlucky not to win 4-0.

    Ettifag 1-1 Nasr

I watched the last 20 minutes. The Korean player, the Argentinian guy, and Al-Sahlawi all looked good. I think the Korean player (can't remember his name) was their best player today.

What's funny is that both goals were scored by Hussein Abdelghani.

    Al-Shabab 2-2 Al-Wehda

Al-Shabab were playing with 9 men after '71.

Frankly, even with 9 men down Wehda deserved the draw. Two evenly matched teams.

Strange thing is, Shabab played better after they got two red cards!

I think the ref was too harsh on Al Shabab. Easily gave away cards for Shabab, while Wehda would slide attack from behind and stop a perfect counter attack and get away with a mere foul.

Most beautiful goal in the league:-

I wouldn't say he was harsh on Al Shabab, rather he was lenient on Al Wehda.

Mainly because KSA couldn't beat Bahrain and failed to qualify for the World Cup ... what the use of having local matches such as League matches, when you cannot do anything to be Proud of at the International Levels ....

Click on this link to know what the world thinks about KSA's failed campaign for 2010 WC http://www.the-afc.com/en/2010-fifa...ing-changes-led-to-saudi-downfall-poll-result

Also, I hope Saudi starts sending their players abroad otherwise, the only option left for the Saudi FA or Saudi Arbian Football Federation is to play as much as friendly matches as possible on foreign soil .... and against quality opposition....

I know if Bahrain manages to qualify to the world cup then KSA will get many friendly matches invitations from quality oppositions that KSA must & duly accept ....

It's going to be a long journey for next qualification campaign so, let's prepare from today !!!

I hope that the Fatty Prince gets his acts together now otherwise, we might see the same scenario for KSA as we have seen for Morocco so far ....

Regarding Morocco, I believe if Cameroon draws with Togo in the next match while at the same time Morocco wins it's remaining 02 fixtures then surely, Morocco will qualify to the WC2010... Fingers crossed, Let's see if this really happens !

Uhh...no. It's because the league just got started after a long break period. If that was true, no one would have watched club football before the 1984 Asian Cup!:p

I didn't see the Wehda match but losing 2-1 against the runner up from last year isn't too bad.

Also, it seems Al Nasr will have to tone down their ambitions for this year.

Uh ... just because we don't post here doesn't mean we don't care about the league.

I get more excited about the league and the ACL than I do about the WCQ. I watched two games yesterday, and if Shabab v. Nasr wasn't at the same time as Wehda v. Hilal I would have watched that game too.
