A good beginning for Shabab, Faisaly has been the suprising team, gaining 5 points in the Prince Faisal Cup from 3 games, was a positive performance and result from the team. But facing the champion at home is a bit too tough. Good luck to Shabab, btw I'm now cheering Shabab, they are my official Saudi club to cheer. :D

Nasr did a good job winning against Hazm, they really need it since after the 6 players that were kicked, and the coach.

Ittihad also did well, but hopefully they are ready for Karameh, still a new coach, and Borgetti did well, scoring 2 goals, I think most didn't think he would do well. Good luck to him.

    Hi Saudi64,

I figured as much, lol :D

Ittihad wasn't that convincing, we need to be a lot better against Karameh. Borgetti did well to get off the mark quickly (you know how impatient Saudi fans are!). While he doesn't contribute much to the play, he is a great finisher, which is something we have missed last year. I hope he does well.

    Nasr 2 - AlQadysia 1

Again Taey beats another big club, 4-2, Ahli now, and a few weeks before Shabab also the same result, 4-2. Taey is well known in Saudi Arabia as "The Big Club Hunter", as it was able to win twice, away and at home, against Hilal last season, and now beat two big clubs with a 2 goal difference at home.

Also, Hilal's next game against Taey has been moved to Hail, where it was supposed to be played in Riyadh, as a punishment for Hilal, after Hilali fans chanted racist stuff against Ittihad. Also a warning has been sent to the Hilali administration if it happens again.

    Wehda v Ittihad

We had a good Hijaz derby today, despite the missing internationals. Some nice goals in the game. Dissapointed Ittihad dropped two points but still, it's good that Wehda is having a good year. Makes things more competitive.

    Ittihad 2 - Hazm 0
    Ittifaq 3 - Shabab 3

The Shabab game was interesting, first game this season while raining. Lots of defensive mistakes, we went up twice but Saleh Basheer equalized twice from fatal mistakes. We only needed to win to continue in first place, but we lost the chance. The end of round 8, with some tough exciting games in the round 9.

    Saturday, December 2
    Shabab x Ahli

A decisive game, Ahli needs to win to enter the Golden 4, and Shabab are in a must win, since its at home, and they lost 2 easy points last round. Also Ahli has a game with Hilal in Round 10, and Shabab has a game with Ittihad, so both will try to gather as much points possible.

    Sunday December 3
    Hilal x Nasr

The Riyadh Derby, will be very tough this season. Nasr is probably in there best form (in terms of paper) but can they prove it on the field? Nasr win this game, they will definetaly do unbelievable in the next games, as beating your sworn rival when your in a late position can do wonders. Hilal must win, as they have fierce opponents right behind. Shabab 2 points lagging, and Ittihad having 2 delayed games. Also they have to meet Ahli, then Shabab, so losing to there rival can affect there last two tough games.

    Ittihad x Ittifaq

Ittihad at home, with the Hilal and Shabab a couple of points far away, need to win to keep up. Ittifaq, with reaching the final of the Gulf Cup Championship, and playing a good game against Shabab, want to continue their good results and take some points here.

    Ahli 2-3 Hilal.

Ho ho ho, it was Ahli's turn to get the Hilal treatment. Two red cards and a spurious penalty helped turn Ahli's 2-0 lead into a 3-2 "loss".
You got to hand it to Hilal. Really, you got to hand the cup to them.

Haha, 2 uncalled penalties for Ahli, a goal scored with help from a hand, and the Hilali penalty was uncorrect. This is from Mohammed Fowdah, the ART specialized referee. It is turning unbelievable, Ahli fans were burning trees, and Hilali flags, chanting 'kos omak ya hakam', and right after AlNasr's game. Hilal's last game is against Shabab, the most important. If they win, then they can pretty sure go far.

Ha Ha Ha..... "Kos Omak...." Ha Ha......

You know, you gotta win no matter how you win! This is being teached by Al - Hilal coach so far and I think Al - Hilal's luck might not favour them in future matches if they carry on with the current tactics. I also believe that Al Ittihad & Al Hilal defenders are weak! Remember Al Ittihad conceding easy goals (04) against a Syrian side in the Asian Champions League in which at least 2 goals were scored by a defensive mistake. Similarly, Hilal's backline is also weak! Any fast & Pacy attack can easily beat the defender of both the clubs! The defenders of both the clubs are heavy and don't have that much of pace i am afraid.

Anyways, best of luck to all the clubs especially Al Hilal! ;)
