I was switching between the channels and every time I check the game I see a goal scored, first it was 2-0, then 2-1, then 2-2, I thought I was a bad luck and never checked it again.

I'm happy for the kids and the coach Saad, hope he do something good in the WC then take a job managing one of the big clubs here.

So it's pretty much Riyadh's & Jeddah's derbies for the Crown Prince Cup semifinals. I like that.

6-5 final result. Other than wrong PK, it was surprisingly entertaining to watch. Good job.

Well that was a good game, KSA played their socks off in this match though and deservedly won. When it comes to the PK, whining about it will not change the fact that KSA won fair and square. And they demonstarted themselves worthy of reaching the final of this competition.

There is no doubt this was a good entertaining match but how do you say PK doesn't change the fact? Without that PK it would be 5-5 and PKs would decide the faith of winner.

My point is, the ref was correct to award the PK.

Then you are wrong because it was obvious Saudi player pretended and dived. If you like I can provide the link to look at it again from different angles.

    Which dive?

The #4 player pushed #7 and didn't play for or touch the ball. Some referees will call it a penalty and some won't but the Saudi player clearly lost his balance so whether it's penalty or not, it's not a dive IMO.

And even if we considered it a mistake, let's not pretend it's the only one made by the ref in a 6-5 game. There were bad decisions going in both directions.

^ The Saudi player over reacted and drop himself for a PK which he got. You like to read it differently, so I stop addressing this because it won't help.

If you think the player dropped himsekf then we'll agree to disagree, but IMO the Iranian defender didn't help his case, with the way he challenged for the ball he made it 50-50 decision for the ref.

It's great we've reached the final and all, but my god our defending is comical. We're just gifting goals to the opposition. Plus, the keeper is worst I've ever seen.

But Abdulrahman alYami is a beast. Promising talent.

Haha, yeah. We could've conceded even more than 5 goals.

I don't know how Japan plays but I won't be surprised if things got ugly in the final. Whatever happens I hope that generation build on their work to achieve similar results in senior level.

I am really not sure what to make of the coming final, although we've got a great spirited young team with a lot of quality we definitely have a room for improvement defensively given the number of goals we conceded last game.

Saudi Arabia looks to score with football club privatization

RIYADH: "Saudi Arabia has taken a step toward its goal to privatize the teams in its top football division, a move which has been tipped to revitalize the sport.

The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) on Monday discussed the plan, which has long been on the table"

    Privatization approved

RIYADH: "“With this decision we are assured of a way of switching sports institutions of full reliability to professionalism, more competitive sports, and a better future of sports organizations to create internal investment opportunities, contribute to the creation of permanent jobs, and help to stimulate physical activity and creativity to achieve sustainable development in sports to meet the public’s aspirations and expectations.”

    :(
Really shocking from Ittihad, plus anyways we were away and Tai is not unknown team like Wej. Coach did gamble by not including some first team players in the squad..Surely we missed power of Akaichi and Kahraba in the attack..

P.S - I thought Hilal will run over Qaisomah but needed 2 late goals to beat them..

Hopefully, that means Saleh Kamel can finally buy Al Wehda and we can have a stable source of income.

Nah, Saleh doesn't strike me as that guy, he won't inject some cash in any investment unless he is sure he will get 200% of it back. :D

Wehda might be that club but I think we are a few years away from that.
