1-0 or 2-1 would do for Iran's favor.

Because Bahrain and New Zealand aren't as strong as North Korea and South Korea?

Anyway, Al Zouri cost us the match.

I've never seen such a slow and sluggy offense by Saudi Arabia in the last year like today. Not even any urgency to score, even around the 80th minute! Unbelievable, but still there's a chance but I think most Saudis have lost interest, thats why I think we will lose against Bahrain because of the shock and depression of not qualifying automatically. Not one player tried to dribble near the penalty area other than Yasser Alqahtani..

Have you seen what N.Korea played? 6 defenders! You can't dribble around that many! Not sluggishness but simply we don't have a good midfield.

With Abdulrahman AlQahtani, and Khaled Aziz, his speed was spred all around the team.

    Congratulation N. Korea

As a football fun, I am happy that even though of the hard circumstances this NT has and will have because of its political situation they still got their work done. TBH, I wanted the game to end 3-2 in favor of the Saudi's just so the Koreans could still make it through. Sad that the team i was rooting for badly, did not win. But i think qualifying through the play-off might actually do them good. Hopefully, the Saudi FA arnt stupid enough to fire pisero just because of this result, sadly though, I think they are.

Sad for the Iranian because they seem to have finally found their form, but i guess it was a case of too little to late.

Again Congratulation N.Korea and better luck next time Iran.
