I fear the soccer inferiority complex is only going to get worse over the next decade as the sport continues to gain in popularity.

Why aren't we better? Answer, because of everything we are doing currently.

They literally point the finger and blame the guy that has invested hundreds of millions of dollars into the sport before they even knew the ball was round.

Its all tomorrow. Also, there shouldn't be on NWSL finals day. It was poor form for US Soccer to hold their blowhard conference at the same time as NWSL final promotional conf.

That is closer to what civilized countries do. But we have to dump all our money into the military. It's better to kill than to heal or educate, that's the American way.

Think he was just responding to people that said "Its time for a change" without providing any insights. Anyway, I think he was being sarcastic. I wonder if one is still allowed to be sarcastic without being considered a troll?

I guess lalas is going to pay for all this himself. I love people that think there is such a thing as a free lunch.

If you work for Google, FB, etc. there is a free lunch, and breakfast, and dinner, and snacks. They also pay pretty well - or so I hear.

The thing is how to better use the existing revenue streams to address the player gap and make the identification, recruitment, and training process more equitable. We also need to implement higher standards for club coaching while encouraging the better youth to join MLS Academy programs.

It isn't free. Someone is paying for it. It really is pretty simple.
