A derrota escancara a verdade: Santos é um time ruim http://espnfc.espn.uol.com.br/santo...ota-escancara-a-verdade-santos-e-um-time-ruim Harsh article. I agree about the CBs, but I still think Santos has a team to compete for a Libertadores spot. All of the other contenders also have a weak areas as well.
The cb performance really hasn't been as bad as people have been saying, they are more or less team goals that i'd blame more on volantes like lucas lima and Alisson, especially lately. I think people are more harsh on the cbs because they see people like Cicinho putting in outstanding performances and we still concede. This team has libertadores talent for sure, Oswaldo enjoys articles like this because that what he's trying to hand feed to the media.
I actually agree with most of that article. Might challenge for a Libertadores spot only if more than one persons learns how finish. Otherwise it's another year of midtable mediocrity.
Lol. Not so sure why someone wouldn't pick up a Lucas Lima jersey but David Braz has been a favorite of mine since he has arrived. He loves the game and brings passion every match.

Gotta agree. Gabigol made a big jump in development this year. I thought he was straying a bit from what I imagine his potential is, but now he is back on track.

Nilson still taking a drubbing on social media. Yea we all know he sucks but do we need the lowest of low hanging fruit to bash? Nilson is just an example of the poor planning on the bench. Like I said 7 months ago he isn't serie b level, it's on the board. The board had limited resources but Santos needed way more off the bench, I'm not asking for a lot just a kayke or junior negao would have been better than nilson. Either way the scapegoat stuff is insane, no1 is even looking at other members of the team, it's pretty disappointing from the fanbase. I could see him getting killed like Escobar did after the World Cup
Santos should still be in the Libertadores. They had no business drawing a horrible Fla in vacation mode at home and dropping points to Coritiba and Vasco (maybe they shouldn't have used a reserve team, but they lost vital points anyways at this point).
