New coach rumour, we are now linked to Serse Cosmi, ex-Siena sacked last December according to Wikipedia. I've never heard of him before

Laughing all the way to the bank. I feel he could still come good, though. He had the misfortune of coming through under Muricy Ramalho.

Santos is now seriously considering Geraldo Martino. I really want to him on the bench.

But that will all depend on whether Newell's makes it to the final of the Libertadores. That wouldn't be known until July 24th. They managed to win an Argentine half-championship but were eliminated on their national cup. Libertadores is the only thing tying him down.

Another reason to root for Atletico Mineiro....

And after seeing what he did with Paraguay and Newell's, I would write a blank check for this guy.

We are also close to Scocco, according to the Argentine media.

Cicinho from Ponte was signed for 5 years. Solid signing.

Indeed. I dunno if it's confirmed yet, but God knows how badly we need a RB!

Seems like we are aiming at Mena yet again, strange since I thought that he had already signed with Granada...

A RB and LB... Exactly what we need.

Finally some good news although I'm not even close to believing we can bring in Scocco. Teams in Italy and spain must really be broke. Anyone have a source on Cicinho? Globo's vai e Vem chart says nothing is official.

Mena coming on loan. Seems to be a done deal. So I guess you for your new fullbacks.

**** YEAH! Mena+Cicinho is a HUGE upgrade to our back four. The Chilean is coming for 2,5m dollars in a one year loan, with the option of buying him for an extra 1m dollars. Excellent!

I'd still try to sign Fucile. He can play on both sides and is solid defensively, so if any of those two get injured he can cover that spot and if we are facing a team that depend too much on one side of their attack. Again, if transfermarkt is right, his value is 2m euros and he is on his final year of contract IIRC, shouldn't be too difficult.

Now our priority should be a playmaking AMF. I've heard a lot of good things about Lucas Mugni but I haven't seen much of him... Diego would also be a dream. Scocco would be a nice addition as well, but I'd still sign th eplaymaker first, they are rarer and more expensive.

And sign Martino as our next coach, of course!

    --------------------Rafael/Vladimir
    --Cicinho-------Dracena-------Gustavo------Mena
    -------------------------Arouca
    -----------Leandrinho------------Cícero
    --------------------------Diego
    -----------------Scocco---------Montillo

    MUCH better!

I saw Viatri and Santiago Silva from Boca were rumored. I like Viatri but then I asked myself is he better than Miralles? Silva is garbage that rumor must of been a joke.

Might be in our best interests to sell Miralles and Patito. We need real quality in the non-Brazilian squad spots. I know he's old, but somehow I really like the idea of signing Aimar.

I wonder how much it would cost to bring Gio Moreno back from China...

I think Aimar's salary will far outweigh the benefit of him playing.

Aimar is closer to the Middle east or River plate from what I have read.
