    elciclon i agree with you

common sense would have made the tournament look like this

    tigre/san lorenzo
    boca v. loser
    boca v winner
    much more sense IMO

overall though I think Tigre got the advantage because they played san lorenzo on equal rest and boca on more rest (unless san lorenzo wins boca and the third game is irrelevant)

San Lorenzo vs. Boca is going to be aired in Brazil! I like San Lorenzo, I started following this club this year (mostly because D'Alessandro was playing there before comming to Inter) and I think it will be my Argentine team of choice from now on. I like the "hinchada" too. That's it, good luck San Lorenzo.

lol San Lorenzo HAS a strong team, with good depth but they lost the mental game to Boca. San Lorenzo came out strong and wanted to eat up all the Boca players. They then gave up the mental edge to Boca and lost.

Vargas played for Inter when you guys won Libertadores and Intercontinental in '05. Great team, I've always liked Inter

we do. we have a great team and great investors too. its too bad that our president is an idiot. however we lost the game to boca cause we were tired. we played 3 games in 6 days which is outrageous. and that is even with us beating tigre. however not to worry cause like the songs says about boca, hijos nuestros nacieron, hijos nuestros moriran.

That's true, the squad was visibly tired. I was just thinking how the game would be better with D'Alessandro. By the way are San Lorenzo supporters angry whit him ?

its kinda of split. he was at one of our games a couple of weeks ago. we definitely could have better feelings of him. but he did enjoy us as a club and has a place in his heart for us. so ultimately we cant be too mad at him. plus no one will ever forget the 2-2 at river with 2 men down. he had a big part of that and we can never forget that. btw hell of a team you got there.

Hope we can keep the best players, it's our 100 years in 2009. Unfortunatly we're not playing Libertadores. I'll try to follow SL at least.

We, West Bromwich Albion, have signed Juan Carlos Menseguez on loan from San Lorenzo.

Can you give me any opinions on him please?

He's always played alongside ex teammate Andres Dalessandro at River plate ,Wolfsburg VFL and San Lorenzo for a few years . he was a critical component of the later two clubs midfield....

Ok so this weekend is the big game Cuervos[IMG] Vs. gayinas[IMG]

I want to watch this game because of the previous three games happenings between them. You can bet it will be a hard fought game w/ passion . there is definitley bound to be a brawl , between Bergessio and Gerlo / Mendoza and Falcao. Apart from that its always a good classico

Hirsig is a tough veteran midfielder who is better on recovery than creating. He can play as a central defensive mid or on the flanks. Versatile, hard working, dependable, not particularly brilliant. He's a team player who'll do the dirty work, don't expect him to carry the team.

Nobody likes to brag about people picking on invalids but nice job Cuervos on waxing that ass poetically.

This was an absolute smackdown! even w/ Gorosito's fresh ideas(tactics).... along w/ orgro fabbiani & enano buonanotte and gato gallardo.....there was nothing they could do to stop the onslaught that Gonzalo Bergessio spearheaded!
