Nothing to do with seeing anything through rose-colored glasses, I just found the game much more relevant and remarkable than how many people may have been there.

While I object to the PC "we're pregnant," once the baby is born, both parents can partake equally or otherwise of the sleepless nights and the daily joys.

    I re-watched the game last night. :)
    Wow.
Will we ever see 19 SOGs again?
Nice to see Lopez come alive.
I'm excited about Fierro and Rios.

    Crepeau, great night, shitty name.

Because I'm out of market, and a Canadian team was involved, I got to watch on ESPN+. The annoucers were TSN guys, and somewhat pro Vancouver. They knew the team the coaches and such. They were rooting for more shots and saves so that Crepeau could break the record for saves. It was pretty funny really. So late in the match they were rooting for Quakes attacks.

On the one hand, we played reallly well, with a couple of lapses. On the other hand, Wankouver didn't come to win, or even play.

Also, I wanted us to hire Marc Dos Santos as our head coach. Boy am I glad we didn't now!! He's better than Dim Stahre, but still, Wankouver are not having a good season. Maybe next season they'll be better?

So, I have to give it to Jesse, he's done really well this season. I sent him an email and told him so. He sent me a nice response.

    Go Quakes!!

I just re-watched the game too.

Have to disagree with most everyone on Lopez. His distribution was extremely poor, especially considering he had no pressure. They literally just let him run up and down the line and cross the ball with no one within 5 yards of him.

I was impressed with how fast Espinoza got several shots off all with velocity.

Vancouver forwards are really, really bad.

I hear you about Lopez, but I think it was encouraging how he would take space and make some runs with the ball towards the box.

I don't think having a jersey makes you a better fan. I am already shelling out a lot of money for the season tickets. They could at least give us a better discount on a $120 shirt that probably cost them $10 to make in Viet Nam.

All kidding aside, having a black/blue color doesn't really stand out like a yellow shirt.

I have several Quakes kits of varying vintage but as often as not wear an Ultras tee (or hoodie when global warming is not as advertised.)

Well I dunno about that. I think if fans really have a shared identity with the team, they want to show off their relationship and they buy apparel. Kinda like wearing a wedding ring in the old days. I know many don’t even get married anymore, much less wear a ring, so that’s not a great analogy, but it’s the first one that comes to my mind.

The current jersey is terrible so it's no surprise nobody wants to wear it or stick their logo on it. I still wear my 2014 jersey occasionally but it's starting to fall apart so not too often anymore. Usually just wear one of my SJ74 hats and bring my scarf (unless it's too hot for that).

I would like to see the Quakes offer a brewer's style work shirt. Nice big crest on the back, with a smaller crest on the front perhaps.

Did you know that 50% of people get their tattoos removed, which costs a lot more than getting them inked in the first place.
