PBP: San Jose Earthquakes - Vancouver Whitecaps FC (Saturday, 8/24) in-game thread [R]

This doesn't look like the Quakes of a month ago. That doesn't mean the Quakes aren't putting shots on goal, however.

 

You can't say that to a ref, even when they really, really deserve it.

 

MLS sports tracker says Chris Wondolowski is good, does that jive? Priceless goal if so

 

Wondolowski was in the right place and no defender was within 5 yards of him. You'd think teams would learn after all these years.

Was that before he scored the goal? Because before, yes, and after, especially yes.

wow i just saw the goal on MLS live, literally no one on him. How does that happen? it continues to happen, after all these years. Thats unforgiveable for an opposing defense

 

Watching him go from the nightmare against LAFC earlier in the year to taking Godoys spot to the point where we could trade him for good money has also been fun to watch!

I’m still not comfortable with him on the ball, but his defensive game is insane

Incredible save keeping Vako off the scoreboard. Quakes are starting to look inventive and adventurous.

 

Yup this blackout crap is stupid. It's not on Telemundo and when i try to log on nbc sports bayarea and watch its says i don't have streaming, which is weird because i've watched a couple of games on it before this season.

I can't turn off my Addblocker so i'm unable to watch this game. I'd like to thank our cheap front office for not offering this match on regular television.

 

Yeah this would never happen with any of the other bay area teams

 

It's great how the expanded market of internet streaming has provided us with dozens of new ways to not see the things we couldn't see before.
