Yeah, out of the 4, he's the one they really can't afford to miss IMO. There are options for 2nd center mid, and it will be interesting to see what Leitch does. Here I was thinking needed to have another d-holding mid, but not necessarily. Dom is no longer the coach. Leitch may just give the keys to Jackson for all we know.

My favorite game of the year! If anyone wants my can't-miss parking suggestions, message me. And if you're determined to brave the Stanford lots and need a VIP parking pass, I've got one to give away.

Looking forward to the game, not the halftime stuff though.
I always get nervous for this match, main thing is to have the players relax and not let the Scum play them into a early yellow or a red. You know that is always their game plan.

Wonder if we'll get a decent ref. I fear it'll be Baldy, Fatty, I Love LA Stott.

The person right in front of me actually got to meet him. I was surprised to see him at the game and wish I'd been picked to say hello. I'm not usually into meeting players while they are active, but now that he's retired it would have been nice to thank him for playing for the team.

"Jungwirth is currently 50/50 to play against the Galaxy, and he hopes that he can increase that percentage with each day of training. Flo will definitely not play in Wednesday’s U.S. Open Cup round of 16 match against the Seattle Sounders, but he will continue to push forward with his rehab over the course of the week.

“I fight everyday to get on the pitch with my mates on Saturday,” said Jungwirth, “but if not, I go to Atlanta.”

Amarikwa and Wynne also return to training"

i was told a week ago Pelosi was to return to training but centerline didn't mention him

I think Quincy's back in training at least...or there's someone in the Quakes Periscope from Leitch's first day that looks a lot like him.

The weekly MLS injury list is not always accurate......interview with Flo earlier in the week he stated he hoped to be back for LA game....lets hope he's right, and yesterdays (27th) list is wrong...

OUT: F - Quincy Amarikwa (knee surgery 9/29, out 9 months)
OUT: D - Marvell Wynne (heart abnormality)
OUT: M - Marc Pelosi (left knee injury)
OUT: D - Harold Cummings (leg surgery, 3/30, out 4-6 months)
OUT: D - Florian Jungwrith (ankle injury)
OUT: M - Fatai Alashe (knee injury)

I think Jungwirth himself said he was 50/50 for Saturday.

I have no idea now what to expect for a line-up. The one thing that makes me smile is I know it will be more attacking soccer!

Will they stick with a 3 man back line? I doubt it. Lima is out with a red. They'd BETTER play Imperiale, he's looked great tonight and has been good in the other games as well. And it's not like there are a lot of other options.

Will Wondo start on the bench after going 90 these last two games. He certainly won't be fresh - but he's also a horse and I don't think that affects him as much as other players.

Urena I believe will be with the CR national team. I think we'll be missing others as well, but I don't remember exactly who. I'd expect Cato to be gone. I don't think Bernardez gets called up anymore so we have that going for us, which is nice.

Thanks. I'll be really really happy if Godoy stays until after the LA game. The rest are welcome to go...

Does that mean Cato didn't get called in this time?

I talked to Tim Hanley before the game and he said it was at best 50/50. Flo is trying, but Tim seemed to think it was a doubtful. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sarkodi/Muma/Imperiale/Colvey.

you're making a sample size error. Imperiale better have looked good tonight, we were man up for vast majority of the game against a basically usl-quality seattle lineup. imperiale was pretty trash for us last season against regular mls opposition.

And you're neglecting what he's done when he's played this season. He's been decent. I'd upgrade decent to solid if he made better forward passes. His defending is "good", but he's so risk-averse passing that he kills some counter attacks.
