San José catching up in this season's California Clásico chase?

Los Angeles securing its hold on this year's Clásico?

The Earthquakes giving themselves a chance at regaining the California Clásico title with still one more matchup to go this year? The Galaxy keeping the Clásico title for a second consecutive season?

    Discuss.

    GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

The Gals lost two in a row twice this year, in March and April...will it happen again?

The Galaxy apparently have the league's best road record (with an assist in one of those wins to an own-goal from the Quakes), and the league's worst record at home. On their board, Galaxy fans speculate that their record flatters them because they have not yet beaten a team in the top half of the standings and several wins have involved absolute bottom-dwellers. The Quakes should win this game. Of course, they should have won the previous edition.

He's probably really pissed off that his dumb tackle is going to cost him a chance to play in front of a such a large crowd against your teams biggest rivals....rookie mistake but hopefully he learns something from it......but that means we'll end up with Skardodie or Frances...

Will SJE have Urena or will he be off to the Gold Cup.....?

Hopefully Hoesen's confidence continues to grow, and that Godoy and Ceren have good games (like they did last night against RSL, but we know RSL ain't LA).

We need payback for the 4-2 home defeat.......LA goalie last night was atrocious so hopefully his confidence is a zero and will give up a howler or two....

Now that guys like Hyka, Hoesen and Urena have had a taste of what this rivalry is all about, hopefully the atmosphere at Stanford will really pump them up and we will get a great show and a victory.....few things in life finer than pissing off Galaxy fans :ROFLMAO:

It would be great to get Flo back. And that's all on Dom, for keeping him in too long in the cup game.

Love Flo, but the team has looked great defensively without him. A far bigger issue than his absence for this game will be creating offensive chances and, of course, finishing them.

If you survive an injury to a key player and the sub comes in and does well it actually strengthens your team because now you have more confidence in your depth. I think that's what has happened here.

I really hope that we don't see Sarkodie as left back in this game. That's the first thing coming to my mind when I saw Lima being sent off on Sat. Now with Dom gone, may be we won't see Sarkodie? Any Zumba team member at half time last Sat has more moves than Sarkodie.

New Zealand is out of the Confed cup. You would think Colvey would be back and raring to go!

I saw Flo at the game Saturday night heading from the stands into the locker room at half time. He was moving well with nothing on the ankle and no sign of an injury.

Btw. Khari Stevenson was in the stands doing some happy b-day stuff with Q and the Quakes staff and some little kids. He has kind of a high pitched voice, not quite Mike Tyson high, but noticeable.

The most intriguing thing about this game now is what our lineup will look like.
