Since it’s a bonus game, we can’t sell these tickets, can we?

Doesn’t this also mean that they are saying no playoffs, so here’s your bonus game C?

Better than that, it means they prefer to provide a game rather than to credit our accounts, as they did in past years when Bonus Game C went unused.

Perhaps it suggest they think it cheaper to arrange a friendly than to repay season ticketholders who did not renew and therefore would not want a credit but a refund. Since it is a Mexican club that may already be barnstorming in the U.S., they may have worked a deal to share the gate, parking and/or concession receipts rather than to pay an appearance fee, so it might be a savvy play.

Works for me. I'd rather see 20 home games per season than 19.

Yeah, I kind of thought that was the reasoning. Would have had to give Non-renewing STHs cash refunds of disputable amounts, whereas now they can give us possibly worthless (to me, anyway) tickets instead.

OTOH, Will the rep offer to pay us for the tickets so the Quakes can resell them, as they offered for the Manu game?

Anything to reduce my financial loss as an STH holder for this pathetic season is all good in my eyes.

I like soccer and am willing to watch U10 play at the school down the street. This is an upgrade from that since Cruz Azul is pretty good so I say, win/win :)

We don't need the Blue Cross, we need the Red Cross to address this disaster of a season

Not sure if it makes any difference since the game is in a few days. I was able to sell my tickets a few weeks ago (went pretty fast at below "market price").

I sold mine for above market price. La Machina is a big-time Mexican team, they've got fans.

Perhaps Matias can convince a few Cruz Azul players to come over to the Quakes next season..

So I sold my tickets but not my VIP pass. If anyone is going and needs a close-in parking space, let me know.

I was able to sell my tickets at cost. But now I was kinda hoping to greet our new coach at the stadium. Guess I'll just have to wait for the Colorado game.
Could the new coach announcement be the reason my tickets finally sold? People getting excited about the Quakes again?

Did the Quakes website allow all you guys to sell your Cruz Azul tickets, or did you sell them on another site? I gave mine away because I didn't think the Quakes site let us resell bonus game tickets. Just curious...

Yeah, I was able to re-sell Bonus Game tickets on the Account Manager/Ticket Master portal the same way as regular/league game tickets...

For Cruz azul I could sell on the quakes account manager (Ticketmaster). For the Man U game I had to sell on StubHub

That's right, the ManU game was funky since there was only physical (or print-at-home) tickets. So I had to sell on StubHub as well by uploading my tickets. It was pretty straight forward though....
