I feel so bad for Montella right about now. 2 months is a hard pill to swallow.

Montella is a loss. He has played a part in assisting some of our goals. This means more time for Caracciolo, who doesn't impress me a lot.

I think that would depend on whether or not Cassano is still hurt. According to Channel 4, he is still out.

After today's loss, I think Mazzarri's time is wearing thin. I wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked during the week.

He doesn't have the players to suit his tactics. This team has been used to a 4-4-2 but he getting the team to play a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, which is more suited to Reggina.

Nice win for Samp today. Cassano did really well and if he continues like this we may see the player we saw a couple of years ago.

The first goal was vintage Cassano. A long ball played to him, he stops it with such ease, turns around the defender, puts a ball under a defender's legs that reaches Bellucci for the easy tap in.

Sounds like i doriani dominated the match. Cassano showed both aspects his character so in this one match, he demonstrated his unpredictably. A great talent with a spastic mind.

I doriani choked against Udinese in this 3-2 loss. Cassano's substitution and Mazzarri's sending-off didn't help. Cassano was apparently playing a very good game until being subbed. Maybe he isn't 100 per cent fit. Fabio Quagliarella scored not only once but twice against is old side. :( I like to see him back in form but do it against somebody else.

Pretty boring match against Juve although under the circumstances I thought Samp played well.

Also for all you Samp fans I found a decent English speaking Samp Forum which seems to be attracting many members fast.

    Worth a look!

    Thanks for the link!

I didn't see the match but from what I heard, i doriani just sat back defended.

Sampdoria won Il derby della Lanterna 1-0 thanks to a Christian Maggio goal. Cassano did well to assist in it and he has been in impressive form for the last month or so.

At the moment, i doriani are seventh and in the hunt for a spot in the UEFA Cup.

There is a Cybersamp mailing list on yahoo. I think they have a website, but its an English list for worldwide Sampers.
