    Shady.Not a crook.Chuck Blazer =crook.Sunil Gulati=protege of a crook.

Gulati is crafting his reflection campaign around being the only American who can ensure the 2026 bid.Why is he the only one who can deliver?I

I don't even want him,but no one with understanding of how complicit our Fed is in the FIFA shitshow should even bat an eye at BigSam

Blazer being corrupt, and Gulati being associated with Blazer, doesn't mean Big Sam has the type of character we should want in our national team coach. Our fed not being a paragon of virtue doesn't mean that we can't object to the hiring of shady characters.

Are you being sarcastic, or would you really be crazy enough to pay 10 million dollars for Sam freakin' Allardyce?

Yes, but he was saying that the US could do better than that figure. So I rounded up to the next million. For Allardyce? If he/she isn't kidding, I think I have heard it all.

I'm just glad the guy got hired elsewhere, so we don't have to waste any more keystrokes on the ridiculous idea that he end up here.

    Think you mean 'lucked' out.

If you'd got him, you wouldn't have been relegated from the Premier League I suppose - but you also wouldn't qualify for the next World Cup.

That's not what matters. What matters is keeping the fed numbers in the black, haven't you paid attention?

Qualifying for World Cups or Confederation Cups is a big travel expense. We can get a lot more profit booking friendlies against Mexico at home.

EPL is same as MLS. Keep recycling old and underachieving coaches.

    here
Everton, since Allardyce's hire: 3 wins, 1 draw. Only one team (guess who) has a better record in their past 4 matches.

I will be (happily) shocked if we end up w/ a better manager than Allardyce.

    here
Everton are 8 points away from Europa league, w/ 20 matches remaining.

Like I said, if we get a better manager than Allardyce, I'll be happy. Who do you have in mind?

The problem with Juande is that he thinks he speaks English.

    We've already been relegated.

Big Sam is considerably more accomplished than the past US coaches. I wonder if the was real, though.

he was counting on our ignorance to get a nice 4 year $2 million a year contract
