Peru or Colombia would have been nice. It's hard to imagine any current national team player right now play in 1st division Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, or Chile.

Well considering the turmoil in Chile that delayed and postponed the league they are better off avoiding that area. Also Peru is very meh compared to the rest, I would love more guys try Colombia.

We now have 10 players in Guatemala. Is this a good sign?

It's NOT good for BOTH countries.

Guatemala is not known for exporting to better leagues with the exception of a Mexican who signed in Perú. Also Saprissa is interested in Gambeta Díaz, an Argie.

Economically it's good for Salvadoreans because they're getting paid better money than back home BUT our league is not good (the quality).

People are fed up with foreigners taking up spots from young local players, this hinders our NT.
