    To add on to that:
Oficial: Irvin Herrera jugará en el exequipo de Bonilla en Tailandia
    https://www.elgrafico.com/futbol/Of...po-de-Bonilla-en-Tailandia-20190617-0007.html

Looks like Nelson Bonilla's success for that club did open the doors for another teammate. Let's hope he does well there too.

I actually don’t believe the door is open for our players. They only want players for marketing and if they’re low money / free (look at the Dominguez situation). I mean to use our players as actual pieces in their teams. For example, RSL, Colorado, cinci, and Minnesota could use some ES players who would actually improve those teams. I mean specifically Oscar, Chicho, Jimenez, Tamacas, Mancia. These are players that should be getting looks but are not getting looked at.

We can agree to disagree on this one. None of the players you mentioned with the possible exception of Oscar might add something and even he might not be able to really hang given the physicality of the league. Tamacas couldn’t make it in Paraguay no reason to believe he would find better success in MLS. It is possible he would but if you were a scout would you really pursue a guy from our league that was let go so quickly from Paraguay given your other options available. The only reason our guys get a chance is because of our expats MLS teams have other options available to them our guys aren’t very good and the big thing they have going for them is they can be marketed out like they do for Fito. Would LAFC had signed him otherwise highly doubtfu.

To be honest the door is more open then is should be given how poor our guys have done in the past

Also posted sadly on the day of the massacre. Dennis Pineda has renewed for three more seasons with Santa Clara.

Seems Thailand is the new hot spot.

There are currently at the bottom of the table.

So I guess Diaz wasn’t able to get nationalized or didn’t meet the requirements but this one hurts honestly.

I wonder if he wants to at this point he is married and a father now so I doubt he would want to play anywhere else and be away from his family unless he is getting paid a ton and it being a long term deal.

This pretty much. He’s been living in Iceland for the entirety of his football career; he’s accustomed and happy to remain there probably for the rest of his career; if not after his career ends.

Doesn’t matter lol, point is Punyed should have moved and at this point is probably not going to. Tbh, i don’t think he’s missed TOO much, but i do think he’s probably opened the door for any Salvadoran that wants to go.

Punyed has won several trophies, participated in several UEFA Europa League tournaments as well as one UEFA Champions League tournament; all while living comfortably in Iceland. I think he’s more than satisfied if he’s been over there for 7 years and putting down roots.

No doubt he’s opened a door for Derby and Renato, but I remember in the early 2010’s when Scandinavia was the destination for Salvadorans. Turcios, Alas, Dustin, Lester and Maikon to name a few and none of them lasted long :(

For Salvadoran football-related topics? Absolutely not reliable.

Scandanavia, a well-documented location, on the other hand just to find a fast fact? No problem, just refer to the References list and endnotes.

But who was really interested though? Rumor mills we’re pretty dry for him. I would still call him up I want competition at camp sadly DLC has his set guys and it makes them complacent.

Iceland would be a good league for youngsters now if they have the fortitude to be away from home and be ready for the cold that’s another story.
