I haven't seen any announcement that home games will be broadcast on CW31 this season. Has anyone heard? 30King?

Question for everyone: The Sacramento Bee has their lovely paywall and I'm sure many of you often are not able to read the article linked to posts on this thread. I don't have a digital plus subscription so I run into it, too (even though as a home subscriber, they generously give me free access to their ridiculous e-edition). What is your opinion on posting the text of the article on this thread instead of a link? My internet speed on my personal laptop is slow enough that I can copy the text between the time the page renders and the paywall goes up. It will lengthen the post if the article is posted in its entirety. I'm sure others could paste text to this thread, as well. OTOH, it's not like Bee articles on SRFC are particularly long. Does anyone have a moral issue with posting, for free, content for which its owner expects to be paid? @SoccerPrime, do the mods have an opinion?
For example: APRIL 7, 2016 5:05 PM Chris Christian hopes coaster ride has stopped in Sacramento Well-traveled defender appears to have found a home with Republic FC He has played in Poland, Ghana, Atlanta and Colorado Springs New York City native had two knee surgeries while at Villanova Bill Paterson: 916-326-5506, @SacBee_BillP Read more here: http://www.sacbee.com/sports/mls/article70619392.html#storylink=cpy
My moral compass has zero problem copying a Sacramento Bee article. The Bee has been a thorn in my (workplace) side for years.
BS has pretty much a zero tolerance for copy and pasting articles. It's part of mod training 101. Why? Because the publishers of these articles are being robbed of hits/views which effect their ability to sell ads. I know that's not the fun or helpful answer but I've been involved with too many of these exact conversations and the admins and supers are pretty adamant about it. What do you think @dark knight or @Ismitje @ButlerBob ?
For some reason the SacBee paywall doesn't show up for me, even though I'm not a subscriber. I can see what's on their site. In general, I agree with SoccerPrime. Copy/pasting a blurb or paragraph is fine, but the whole article probably not. It makes BS threads really long as well.
Thus speaketh DK. I can see most of the articles too. Maybe I haven't hit the free 10 views on the same browser like most paid sites have.
When I know others might hit a paywall, I try to use a service like the following to provide users with a free cached or archived link. http://www.cachedpages.com/ Those often aren't available if it's a recent article. https://archive.is/ This service is slow to produce an archived version, but it usually works nicely. For instance, here's the Sac Bee article that @mangerson posted about above: https://archive.is/ULBS3 This is all a little shady in its own way, but it doesn't subject BS to copyright infringement complaints, which was the reason for prohibiting copying and pasting full text back when I modded.
Haven't subscribed to the Bee in 5 years. Follow all the writers on twitter that I want to read. They tweet out the links, I read from there. Never have paywall problems at all.
WATCH: @RepublicFCPrez talks this week's @MLS visit on @GoodDaySac. https://t.co/RbPGLuBOkW pic.twitter.com/l4KdtidzQZ— Sacramento Republic FC (@SacRepublicFC) April 11, 2016 Excellent interview of Warren Smith. Says its basically a matter of timing now for MLS franchise. Garber coming to look at stadium site to give his stamp of approval. Gives a good summary that Minny and Miami were way ahead when we got into the race, and overtaking them was a longshot (like I've posted before, we were positioning as first alternate) Regarding the location, it's already well known; it will be considered one of the top 2-3 MLS stadium locations when complete. Garber isn't coming out to "evaluate" the suitability of the stadium site. Abbott was already out here and loved it. He's coming out to meet the ($$)players, evaluate the expansion plans and get a lay of the land. I was told the finish line is close
Furillo has written some real stinkers in recent years, but this SRFC-Kings piece is quite good. .@andyfurillo was on the fence about writing about the Kings or Republic. He wrote about both, and it's great https://t.co/u3XBs7d8j7— Evan Ream (@EvanReam) April 16, 2016 Non-paywalled archive: https://archive.is/H9ewi
Sac Bee: Guzman waiting in the wings Basically, recovered from the quad injury and just needs to get game fit. Will fill more of an attacking role. Hallelujah!
Republic FC laments, can anybody around there score?, Sac Bee 4/25/16 Buckle reevaluates his roster every eight games or so, but is looking for a striker now.
Harry Williams, Sac Bee - 4/29/16 Tweeked his hamstring late in last week's match. Humorous reference to Pridham at the end of the article.
