Are they cutting salary in order to make room for big-name signings (just imagine if they could get somebody like Nery Castillo)? Or have they just given up? Let's hope it's the former.
Re: REPORT: Sacha Kljestan Agrees Move To Anderlecht If that's the strategy I don't get it. Chivas would be much better off w/ Sacha and Bornstein than with Nery Castillo, in my opinion. Bornstein is a very solid MLS player, and Sacha is a game winner in MLS. Nery is a good player but there's no guarantee he'll be better than Sacha in MLS, and to give up a very good MLS defender to boot as part of the salary dump plan? That would be odd.
