Very early on Friday morning US 1 up in first group after 2.

Absolutely love this event. I haven't played a serious round of golf in over 10 years (thank you soccer), but damn I love this event. I went to the '95 RC at Oak Hill. Easily the best sporting event I have ever attended.

USA 5:3 EUR after day 1. Really impressive, especially during the 4 ball. Bubba and Webb were damn near perfect

As usual, Woods continues to crap the bed at the Ryder Cup. Good thing everyone else is pulling their weight.

What a great match. I truly look forward to Scotland. Especially since we get to dump dead weight like Furyk and Stricker for guys like Mahan and Fowler.

Justin Rose was unquestionably the MOM. He stole that match from Phil with just amazing short work. Truly impressive.

Loved watching all those obnoxious American golf fans get it shoved down their threats. Great stuff.

In reference to the "Soccer in the USA" forum, perhaps we should start a thread entitled "English terms not used by Americans" ........... here's one to start with, "We've won the Ryder Cup".
