So it means that you cannot sell there if you have only 1 ticket yourself ? example
someone has 1 france v australia , i have 1 england v panama

both have fan ID
then you won't trade on the official platform ? or you mean you can but they will take 10% ?

 

You can sell your tickets on the official platform losing 10%. There are some restrictions eg I think you cannot sell some of your TST and I think you have to sell all your tickets for a game.

There is no official way to trade say your England v Panama for France v Australia. You can do it privately.

as i recall from 2014, this is only 1 way side
you sell your tiket back to fifa who put the ticket for sale on the selling platform
you cannt trade or exchange tickets. you only deal with fifa
fifa takes your ticket and try to sell it again (if it sold you get 90%, if not sold you are stuck with the ticket. no one guarantee that you will sell your ticket

Be really careful taking cat4s from people in trades . My Russian contacts and also friends at the Confed Cup said in some stadiums security were checking Russian residential papers for people using Cat4 tickets. That said the same group of friends said they also saw foreigners using them and security didn’t check so it’s a hit and miss depending on security and city. Avoid unless desperate but if you do get asked move on and try another Gate

 

Good shout - I used local cat 4 tickets in South Africa that we bought outside without an issue but Russia is a different ball game...

I think this is good advice. I also know people who used them and who plan on using them in June.

However they are reserved for Russians and anyone who can afford to go to Russia can easily afford the cat 3 prices. If it does get picked up I can imagine some security people would not be happy.

 

Are we all confident that we will get in with a Fan ID even if it doesn't match the ticket?

For example I'm going to England Belgium. Don't have a ticket yet and it's unlikely to be in my name. I do have a fan ID though.

 

Absolutely I am but it is up to everyone to decide for themselves.

Names on tickets haven't been an issue since 1994 nor were they an issue for the Confederations Cup Once you have a valid ticket and a Fan ID that matches your correct details and photo I believe you will be fine. It is up to everyone to make their own decision though.

i think that after the opener we will all know...but from past experience, fifa wants money and a valid ticket, russia wants to control the population and evoid terror.
so 1 will check a valid ticket and the other the fan id but no one cares that they are the same
