Has anyone applied for FanID with someone else's application ID? Or do the FanID info have to match exactly the ticket application? Does the FanID people (probably Russian authorities) have access to FIFA ticketing system? Cause they do approve quite fast.
Same here. I applied in late October. I had to re-submit my photo, so that added some time. They notified me by both SMS and email.
Sorry If I am being repetitive here. I got a TST7 Marocco and I have already applied for a Fan ID. I will try to get the other semi with a different account. Should I apply for another FAN ID? Or I can use the FAN ID of the TST for the others tickets, like the semi? Thank you.
I applied Oct 30, was approved on Oct 31. Got an email, no SMS, yesterday morning stating it had shipped.
It seems like they are doing all the USA based FAN-IDs first (aside from Russia). Or has anyone from anywhere else had their status updated? I hope they do all of ours before they draw phase two ballot in fifty days time When they arrive could someone please post a description or photo of what is in the package? From confederation cup blogs and instagram I see that people were getting their FAN-ID attached to a lanyard but I wonder if there is anything else.
I'd also like to know the answer to these questions. I succesfully got tickets as a guest on someone elses account, though not under my name. I noticed that the ID document used to buy tickets doesn't have to be the same as the one used in your FanID application. This makes me think it might be possible to get approved even though your name doesn't match the ticket (but a valid ticket number is still provided).
I had two successful requests under my account on FIFA's website. The first request was 3 tickets for 3 different games (1 ticket per game), which I used to get me a FanID. And the other request was one ticket for another match, also under my name. I gave to a friend the request number for him to apply to his FanID. His FanID was also approved, even though the request was on my name. So they probably just check if the ticket request number is a valid one.
FYI---I just received notification via email that my Fan ID is being shipped. Applied on November 26th.
same here, e-mail says it is on its way. But the postman is going to earn his money with the address format they have. My guess, total cluster f* on US deliveries.
unless your address is some attorneys office that has floor, suite, box etc. it should be fine. mine is a regular numbered st and a box and I played around with it but I think is understandable by anyone who can read.
any human who can read Machines (vast majority of readers of addresses used by USPS) sometimes are not that good. Google would, USPS .... who knows....
not a problem, it gets human sorted like large envelopes and many packages. It has tracking possible is registered which gets treated differently anyway.
I noticed the odd format too. Although surely this part of the mail delivery system has been automated by now, no? Anyway, my FanID has traveled all the way from Moscow to Sharapovo, on the outskirts of Moscow, in the last four days.
It takes a few days for the IDs to clear Russian customs in Sharapovo. My ID arrived there on Monday and was released by customs today.
I don't think that matters. Mine was October 31st. Judging by these comments they have only sent Americans and Russians. Aslong as it happens in the next five months life is good
