He had to come out at 31 mins due to injury and I get my sad, poor excuse for a life back for an extra hour tonight...

Early substitute in 1st leg of Gran Final. Matched ended 1-1.

Online reports indicate an active match for him.

Emergency entrance is making a good match

Maybe Dieguito shared a bit from his stash to give the kid confidence.

This is the final of the playoffs, and the first leg was played in Sinaloa, so a tie is a bad result because San Luis is expected to win at home.

Now, both teams have the right to ascend, which is based on stadium size, sponsor's pocket size, cartel blessing, and whether or not the proper mordidas have been paid.

But the Mexican system of prom/rel has many elements of randomness: a promoted team can have its brand (franquicia) bought by another, or they could merge with another, or the "table of quotients" can be used to change things at the last minute.

So basically you don't know if you've been promoted until the initial whistle of the first game in the next season. Corruption can turn things into something Baroque.

Told ya. San Luis was not going to fail to win it at home.

So San Luis gets promoted, even though the Mineros de Zacatecas tops the cumulative quotients table. Unless someone buys them out, of course.
