I'm sure no one is the mood to discuss Sabo and being offside any longer (I'm not, really), but Keane's goal tonight is an example of when hanging out in an offside position is a huge advantage. No one was keeping track of where he was because he was offside. Then Donovan gets free on the left, breaks toward the endline, Keane sprints back 5 yards and is completely unmarked and now onside when Donovan makes the pass. Maybe Sabo does this too much, I don't know, but it can certainly be an effective tactic at times.
