Which site are you using? Is this the mlssoccer.com fantasy game, or are you going with one of the other sites?
Last year I made a new record and quit in March. Don't think I can top that so I'll quit while I'm ahead. Only have very limited internet access anyways (hence you haven't had to deal with my USL/NASL to St George crap...)
In. Harder to pick a good lineup IMO - the amount of new money is note easy to divvy up between the new number of players, given the higher prices.
That's my tradition! I've launched my team, just like every year, then I get frustrated by my work getting in the way of paying attention, and my team always sucks, and by the end of April… fantasy team? What fantasy team? LOL!
I made my team yesterday. Seems they've upped the amount of players from a team you can have to 4. What RSL players did you choose? I got Rimando, Saborio, Plata and Mulholand (wild gamble with this one) Making Plata my captain. Probably won't pay off.
I had Keane as captain with Plata as second forward. Funny how missing a PK is negative 2 points. I'm pretty OK with that, given the outcome of the game!
I was conflicted between making Keane and Rimando my captain. I picked Keane. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
It did but I'm so bummed out I bet against Nick. He earned the most points this round. (at least I did have him) Also with his past few seasons not being very spectacular, why on earth did I get Juninho? Gonna fix that now. Other than that I did alright. Mulholland getting that goal would've been nice for me.
I picked up Keane and made him my captain because I thought Salcedo was starting. My other choice for captain would have given me 2 more points is all. No biggie!!! Keane is getting dropped for at least a month.
Luckily, I had Will Bruin as my captain. Gotta love 30 points from one player! Add Nicky's 15, and the two of them beat the rest of my roster.
I'm going with Morales (the new one from Vancouver) as captain this round. Vancouver did really well against NYRB (even if they were lacking players) so I'm expecting (hoping?) they tear chivas apart.
I did okay in round one, but used my wildcard already. Too many players who will never get PT made it pointless to have the large roster.
I knew I should have dropped Michel earlier in the week. I wanted to give him another week but he cost me .2 on my budget.
