Ughhhhh, that's such a frustrating goal to give up. Especially after looking the better team for the last 10 minutes or so. Can we possibly speed up Rimando's retirement/start someone else in games like this?
We've not been lucky on balls deflecting off of our defenders this year. 1-0 Tigres on what ended up being a looping, 40-yard, deflected shot off of Rimando.
That was a great example of how the game speed has passed by KB5. That defender came at full speed and just took it away while Kyle slowly dribbled.
I am still playing in a local league - one of the two oldest players in the league. I do fine - competitive sometimes - most of the time, but there is a team full of quality players in their prime where I can hardly control the ball before they are on me. This is where Kyle is too: most opponents, he can still play fine and sometimes even be competitive, but when up against a lot of quality, forget about it. I am glad Schmitt is coming in. Baird has been a waste.
