Often times, when there's chaos and goofiness in life, you turn to a team you love in a sport you love to help you through. But when the team itself is the cause of much of that chaos, it's difficult to get too excited. Yet here we are, 30 minutes from the last home game in the 2019 regular season - and in Nick Rimando's career. With no game thread started, and no buzz really. One surprise: the late season benching of Justen Glad is now a thing two years in a row.

@Ismitje I would love a PBP with any highlights since I'm en route from San Francisco to SLC at the moment. I'll try to watch later, but [emoji2368]
Please send a photo of the unfurled Tifo. I'm so sad to miss Nicky's final (regular season but probably ever) home game.
You know, just your regular bay area weekend staying with a movie studio exec with great seats to Hamilton. No biggie. #flex #asshat #evenidontlikemerightnow #whosaidhumble #notascoolasipretendtobe #soblessed #hashtags4evar
Terrific steal and breakaway from Baird - and Everton made the supporting run so the whole defense couldn't drop into the path of Baird.
Didn't seem to rattle Houston very much, as the game has been even (or perhaps tilted a bit to the Dynamo).
Our defense has looked unorganized. edit: there it is. we were awful. double edit: overturned by VAR !!!
Terrible giveaway from Nicky. Not the way one wants to end his home career. Wait - VAR with the save?
Now they've really scored, and Nicky is a culprit again - knocked a rebound right to Houston, then got beat near post from a terribly narrow angle. 1-1.
The Herrera giveaway was in midfield and we had all six defenders back. It shouldn't have been a problem. Wow, another goal called back for Houston. We're imploding. That was very, very close.
Holy cow, great save from Rimando off a near own-goal (Herrera's clearance hit Silva in the chest and almost went in at the near post).
After one minute, we had one shot. After 40 minutes, we have one shot still. 3-1 or 4-1 Houston would be fair scorelines.
