Step 1: Get the Petke lawsuit finalized. This looks like it means settlement. Fine, make DLH pay for being a candid dumbass in front of the Royals fans. Trying to do a GM search and club rebuilding with that going on, to me, just doesn't make sense.

anyone know when exit interviews are? Curious to see what the reaction to those is, with everything else going on, and if we'll get any leaks on players who wont be with the club next year

The Monarchs made strides this year compared to the past couple of years, but I still can't believe that 3 of the 4 players with the most minutes are 25+ non-first teamers. And the only reason Blake isn't higher is because he was injured for much of the year.

Chang is a really good USL player, but how does he get 2700 minutes while Vasquez doesn't break 500?

I feel like a broken record online but it's such an easy fix and it's incredible the club doesn't do it.

I dunno, Fertil Pierre is a pretty strong nickname in it's own right.

Maybe that's his plan, get hired as both and then hire a coach.

    Probably not.

He might actually make a good GM.
He was mostly responsible for getting Javi, Espindola and Olave here wasn't he?

Looks like instead of a developmental pyramid, we might end up with a diamond.

Kreis was serving as GM and identified Javi, Espindola, Cordoba and Mantilla. Olave was more Lagerwey. Although the reality is that Alejandro Taraciuk (former MLS superagent) was the most responsible for all 5.

My wife who was the first I heard to label this the Year of the Goat (our current BS tagline), just told me that if this happens it should be labelled the Second Coming of Kreis. You heard it here first.

    Time for a new Tagline?

This can't be true. I read that our owner is a monster who no one will want to work for.

Well.... He did work in Orlando... Everything has got to look pretty good from there.

Honestly, he knows Del Loy. I'm sure negotiations would spell out specific points to try and avoid contention and misunderstandings.

I hope as far as coach goes it's not going to come down to just Kreis or Juarez. I think Kreis as coach is a long shot, and Freddy didn't inspire as head coach this season. Hopefully, RSL will cast a wider net than that.

so.... why don't we approach that guy to be GM?

Please no retreads with Kreis. Not even as GM. The club needs something fresh, not a throwback.
