RSL entertains Minnesota Saturday at the RioT. Minnesota just came off a 2-1 loss at DC United and RSL just came off a 6-2 destruction of the LA Galaxy that cost Sigi his job. Will RSL continue to destroy opponents or will Minnesota get their second road win of the season?

Prediction: RSL wins 6-0. Goals by Plata (2), Krellach (1), Rusnak (1) and Savarino (2)

I have season tickets to both Utah football and RSL. This weekend features the both playing at essentially the same time. Given the ranking of the opponent I'm attending the Utah game. I think this might be a bad decision. I hope for RSL it means they have another goal fest.

XI I would expect to see:

    Kreilach
    Plata Rusnak Savarino
    KB Sunny
    Herrera Besler Glad Lennon
    Nicky

We've struggled with this Minnesota team in the past. This isn't going to be an easy one.

You staying away might be just the shot in the arm we need. I'm with El - RSL 6 - 0 MUFC.

Can I have your tickets? [IMG]

blood relations wanted them. Otherwise the next logical person to offer them to was the person who makes fun of my hotdog, er I mean straw, actually I'll stop now

Every game and every point matters blah, blah, blah.

But boy does this game feel like it matters more than most though.

If this game was played last week after the two previous games and without a break I would feel much more confident that RSL would continue its winning ways and rather easily.

But RSL is notorious for not doing well after a break or time off. They tend to come out pretty flat. Hopefully that is not he case this weekend and Petke has them motivated. I'm going to guess that Minnesota will be motivated despite the playoffs being out of reach for them except mathematically of course. Throw in the fact that they seem to have RSL's number so I expect nothing but their best. Playing the spoiler is it's own reward.

RSL should come out ready to take 3 points and move closer to locking up a playoff spot. If they aren't ready to play I will be very disappointed for sure.

And with a quick glance at the schedule to remind that this game is pivotal to making the playoffs easy or incredibly difficult.

After Minnesota it's ATL away, FUKC away, PTFC home, NE home, & PTFC away.

Anything short of 3 points in this one and you can kiss hosting a playoff game goodbye. It's going to be tough enough even with 3 from this one.

I agree on the timing for RSL sucking. I completely understand Petke giving the guys time off (this was in the all access videos) but man did it feel like a weird thing to say when the group was coming together as well as they were/are. Hopefully the gap was good enough to let guys recover but not long enough to lose the chemistry

    Would be nice to see
I predict a figurative cornucopia of straws to be available at The RioT.

You made the choice that I would have made. The You Dub game is the top home game in the schedule imo.

    3 points would be huge.

I took both my boys to the Colorado game, but I only have two season seats at the RioT. So only one of them got to see the 6-2 win over the Galaxy. I'm taking the other tomorrow, so it'd be nice for RSL to score 6 goals again, so both of them could see 6 goals in a game.

    That can happen, right?

    Against our defense?

    Easily.

However, we won't get shut out.

    6-2, RSL. Maybe even 6-3.

    Welcome back!!!

Happy for you, in both life and soccer! However, it looks like you are reliving the early RSL coach/GM/low budget days.....

We need a couple of goals in the first half while we have the favorable wind.

Dunny didn't see a foul by Sunny when he had his arms wrapped around the dude's waist holding him back...

Color me stunned with the Ruiz-for-Beckerman sub. I don't mind it at all, I am just flummoxed by it.

No idea how Minnesota didn't equalize there. Quintero skinned Brooks and Pablo but good.
