Head injuries. #4 on the Crew looked like he was out cold for a minute.

He dealt it quite liberally as well.

I gotta say, even though @Ismitje already did, that was a much-improved 2nd half. We didn't just roll over. We had 3-4 great looks at goal. Rusnak had 2 great chances: one saved and one blasted a bit off frame. Even Plata's curler was threatening.

Only sub I didn't like was L. Silva. Hopefully Petke/Waibel are just inflating his involvement for a trade. He didn't add anything. We were actually worse. Why not just push Lennon up front? How about Mullholland? Luke would have added some energy at least.

And now, they are not offensively moribund.

This is funny from Doyle as the Armchair Analyst: " RSL’s bizarre. They avoided the mistake of playing Kyle Beckerman & Damir Kreilach together in central midfield, but Mike Petke… started Kreilach as a false 9? Even Jorge Sampaoli is confused by that one. They lost to Crew SC, 2-1, and were much (much much much) better once an actual forward got out onto the field.
