Really, given the relative form of the teams and the fact we're playing at home, this must be a win for us.

Yeah, Savarino's completed more passes to Sounders than Royals. His D has been suspect too. Wouldn't be shocked to see Bofo as a half time sub.
Overall, RSL playing well. Just can't quite find the right final pass or shot on goal. 3 points is in our grasp.
This is set up to be an interesting second half. It's been pretty open on both sides really but RSL does seem to be on the front foot a bit more.

Whether it's for an another attacker or a defender, I think Savarino needs to come off for the last ten and stoppage.
Sunny has just impressed the heck out of me the last two games. He was fine away at Seattle but those near-turnovers were problematic, but the Houston game and today have been terrific.

How many times have we seen open nets stay empty? I fully expected us to blow it. Woo Hoo! And 3 in a row! I think happy is what I'm supposed to feel. These strangely familiar feelings that I had years ago... do I dare believe? No. Hope is the breeding ground of horrible disappointment.
Wow. That was another good game but against a lesser team at the moment. It almost looks like they’re figuring things out. Weird. I’m also enjoying eating lots of crow. Two players I’ve been very down on have really come into their own. Sunny and Bofo. I like it, I really like it. Knock on wood but I haven’t seen a terrible tackle fro Sunny in forever.
