I see what you are doing, and I don't know if I like it. I mean, actual news! in the season news thread? This will take some getting used-to.
U-20s won the CONCACAF Championship, but Glad came off injured in the 48th minute. No word on how serious the injury is. Acosta put in the winning penalty, and Lennon scored one as well: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017/...ional-team-captures-first-ever-concacaf-title
It would be nice to see Kamrani do the same. Hell, he had 3 chances! Make a couple puff pieces to placate the team and stay in good graces, but throw in some serious analysis in the 3rd.
I like seeing some critical analysis. Sadly, it seems like the FO wants to do anything other than try to spin everything as a positive. This was a mixed game. We easily could've lost, or Plata scores that close shot from a perfect KB pass and we win it. A draw was probably the fairest result, but the overall game didn't give me a ton of confidence. I really hope we can build from this and show a positive trend in the coming weeks.
Borg is back and he ends strong. I like Dunseth but Simon's over the top energy makes this crazy show work. http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017/...-goal-vs-atl-and-did-seba-dive-instant-replay
I with you on hoping for positive trends in weeks to come but I think RSL stole a point on Saturday. Without Rimando the pressure on Cassar would be ... 11. I really don't know what is going to happen against Chicago and it might just get ugly. I really thought TFC would roll through RSL's defense so I should be more optimistic for Saturday but win less in 9 and on the road has me thinking some of the 6 goals that I thought TFC would get just might materialize. It's going to be interesting. Oh, and trade Plata.
this (from http://www.mlssoccer.com/rosters/2017/real-salt-lake) is interesting, it looks like RSL traded away another International slot permanently.
Fixed: International slots 1 Hernandez, Jose 2 Holness, Omar 3 Phillips, Demar 4 Rusnak, Albert 5 Stephen, Sunday 6 7 TRADED SLOT TO: MIN on 2/2/17 8 TRADED SLOT TO: COL on 6/27/05 Permanently
