Game one of the Daryl Shore era, and we'll be without Rimando, Beckerman, and Rusnak in addition to the injured players. Sascha Kjlestan has been called up for NYRB.

This game is being broadcast on UniMas.

I'm pretty sure I don't get UniMas. Unless KMYU also shows the game, I guess I'll have to find a pirate stream.

Uh, yeah I'm not expecting anything out of this game so watch us score seven.

I expect us to loose , but since I expected Trump to loose, anything is possible. I wouldn't be surprised if RSL played Deutschland to NYRB's Brasil and crush them 7-1.

Either way, I have only one thing to say for the new coach: Play the young guys, especially Bofo and Lennon.

Hey, does anyone know what the name Bofo stands for? Is it a nickname like Dick for Richard or Pino for Giuseppe or what?

    Pino is short for Giuseppe?

Yes. It comes from the nickname Giuseppino (little Giuseppe).

I didn't expect to see more than one goal in the last game, because both teams sucked. We still do, while NY is good. Very good chance for a comb. For now, I'll say 3-0 for the bovines.

The XI I want to see this game:

    VanO
    Tony Schu Schmidt Acosta
    Luke Sunny
    Lennon Bofo Velazco
    Yura

Lennon and Bofo both have to start again. I'd move Bofo centrally and let Velazco start. Silva has been shit and doesn't deserve minutes here.

It is also going to be on Facebook Live, so no need for a pirate stream for this one.

How does Facebook Live work? Do you have to have some sort of subscription?

And be able to stand all the stupid emojis flying across the screen the ENTIRE stream. God that shit got old quick with the last facebook stream they had, I turned it off after about 2 minutes and put on the UniMas channel.

In Saucedo's case, it's because his dad was a fan of Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista. I'm not sure where the original nickname came from.

I watched the ATL game and I think when you went to full screen the emojis went away. I could be wrong because I kept going back and forth from full to minimize.

That's good to know. Hopefully it'll be better than the last time I tried to watch something via Facebook live which was buffering so bad it was like watching a random screenhot every 10 or so seconds.

Maybe it will be a huge monsoon rain and it will be an exciting 0-0 draw. And Clint Mathis... sorry having a seizure here...

Looks like Horst has picked up an injury, so our back line this game is likely going to be: Beltran Schmidt Schuler Phillips

Horst was out last week, too, so not sure why that matters.

Velazquez posted that it was great training with RSL again, any reason to believe he is headed back up to the first team?
I do agree with those calling for a young team in this one.

Because that's the point of having your second team play in the same stadium - so you can have bodies and get to see those guys on a much more frequent basis.

Let me be blunt with you: Vela is spending the year wit the Monarchs unless things go really south in the midfield.

You meant 'when things go really south' right? I mean the injury bug has already zapped half the front line and half the back line, so naturally next will be midfielders...

Somehow I recall a similar argument involving Schuler last season?
