Does MLS have a mercy rule? One really has to ask what was Petke thinking putting a line-up like this out in the first place. Dunk has sucked, Holness has sucked, Maude has sucked, where the hell is Silva? Losing Attinella really looks bad right now.

 

Maybe the ref will give reverse injury time and just call the match before 90.

 

You're gonna have to work pretty goddamn hard to convince me that Attinella would have made a difference on this result in any way, shape, or form.

Honestly this team just isn't good, period, we have nobody of the caliber you see on other teams in terms of difference makers. There is not a single player in this roster capable of taking the match by the scruff and turning it into RSL's favor.

 

I remember the days when we walloped NER 6-0 and 5-0 in consecutive years, and when we trotted out an all-reserve lineup on the road and won 2-0. And now they may get all of those goals back in one game.

Agree the end result would likely be the same, but this keeper has been anything but confident coming off his line, go back and watch his decisions, they have been pretty poor.

 

It's hard to have confidence when you have no confidence in your back line. I doubt Rimando would've been any different tonight. These goals have been largely uncontested.

 

So Schmidt comes in for Phillips, and plays outside back? WTF? Why wouldn't Wingert slide over?
