I have re-designed the team pages today in order to be more obvious with the link to the conference page, and to bring more attention to the conference record. Here is a list of teams...pick one and take a look: https://rpiupdatemenssoccer.blogspot.com/search/label/Teams
Dan, you gave the game to the bad guys. I'll agree it was questionable, but my Hoosiers scored the golden goal. 2-1 IU.
Indiana DM'd me as well. I think their stat scoreboard gave the goal to Notre Dame first, and that's what I saw. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. I retweeted out the correct score and RPI rankings.
Have you thought about doing the same thing for women's soccer? I mean, if you just stick to the facts, everyone should be cool with it, right?
Hey Dan, did you get that Pitt beat VCU this afternoon in a game that was rescheduled from yesterday?
Pitt's home match versus NC State, originally scheduled for Friday, will be moved to Tuesday, Sept. 25 due to Hurricane Florence.#H2Phttps://t.co/05sN2Ro5m4— Pitt Men's Soccer (@Pitt_MSOC) September 13, 2018
FYI, the first NCAA release came out today. As usual, they've changed all of the bonuses again (increased them). I just spent the last 90 minutes verifying the new bonus structure, and I've got about 90% of it and made educated guesses on the rest (which haven't been triggered this season because they are rare). There is one mistake in the NCAA database that affects bonuses, and thus the rankings. They have San Diego's 1-0 win at CSUN as a neutral-site match, thus denying the Toreros a small bonus. My rankings are correct (San Diego is ranked 107 instead of 110), and I have e-mailed USD to get the ball rolling on a correction.
I love that we've gone from you making corrections based on their releases to you getting them to make corrections because there's is wrong.
Thanks, Sandon. There were some glitches in finalizing that day. I'll need about five minutes to get everything back in order.
Dan, UAB beat FAU in overtime 2-1, not a 1-1 tie. It's on both team websites if you need to double check.
Gaucho, any chance you could share what the order of bonuses teams can get with wins or draws against high ranked teams? I'm not asking for the actual numbers, as I know you have worked really hard to attain those.
