Three thoughts on the game, after watching it on a slight delay: I don't know how I feel about Corsie at DM, but in hindsight I think it was probably the best situation to try out out Johnson next to Sauerbrunn. NJ is really terrible. I'm still worried about giving up all those draft picks, but the early returns with Press are promising. She slots right into the giant "who will chase down all these through balls?" hole we've had all season. To be fair, though, NJ is so shaky that even Stengel looked like she might be a threat for pace. It was really funny when we decided to experiment with Thorsnes at fullback. She made one or two excellent tackles, but I'm still not sure whether Harvey was conducting serious research, trolling the NJ manager, or just expressing her boredom after the match started to slow down.
