    Mutiny whereabouts

Just saw John Diffley this past weekend playing for the New York Freedoms. They play in D3/Pro Select League. He's a player/coach with them. Also, Ernest Inneh plays for the Westchester Flames, also D3/Pro Select League*.

D3 has been renamed to Pro Select League.

    Musa Shannon signs with Vancouver

"VANCOUVER ( Thursday, April 10, 2003) - The Whitecaps F.C. Men's Team has signed Liberian international striker Musa Shannon (pronounced MOO-sa). The 27-year old was with the Colorado Rapids of MLS last season after earlier starring for the Tampa Bay Mutiny, as well as Maritimo of the Portuguese First Division."

I just thought a few Mutiny fans might find this interesting...

I would think that Musa will do quite well in the A League. Whitecaps supporters will enjoy watching him. Good luck MUSA!

eric Quil was the man oof the game yesterday in north DFW vs Burn

scott garlick, lost the start role with Tim hankinson's
Richie Kotscheau, is out the main eleven too!

tim Hankinson, coaches the worse team in MLS today.

chad Mccarty plays 2 or 3 minutes per game - Crew
Frankie Hedjuck plays 90, on chad's side.

where is Daniel hernandez and Diallo?

Efe, I saw the highlights on FSW's MLS wrap this past Saturday. I couldn't believe it - remember how Quill used to drive us all nuts? We used to rag on him on these boards incessantly!

    yeah

but, do you know that carlos valde.. used to say that the best future of all the players he had around was that guy? they had their problems, but carlos was a perfectionist on the field, he had him on high regards.

same with the young boy that came at the end of the franchise..... I think it was carrieri (on of the last draftees)

    Jair sighting

Jair played on Friday, 516 for the Western Mass Pioneers. He had much of his old touch - it was nice seeing him out there. Far outclassed many of the players on the field.

Musa Shannon has been released by the Vancouver Whitecaps.

He pulled a ham-string during the pre-game of the home opener (May 3rd). Musa made his first appearance for Vancouver on May 23rd and then play again on May 25th. Apparently the Whitecaps were unhappy with his level of play.

Steve Trittschuh and Mark Dougherty are on the staff of the Colorado Rapids. Trittschuh also played for the Rowdies in the APSL days, didn't he? Are he and Wegs the only guys to play for both the Rowdies and the Mutiny?

Speaking of the APSL days, my good mate Terry Rowe is living in London and sells prefabricated popup soccer bubbles, I believe.

Tim Hanley is GK coach for the San Jose Earthquakes.

Steve Wegerle and Alan Anderson are coaching for Black Watch Soccer in Tampa. I believe Wegerle and Winston DuBose work for the same computer company someone spoke of in a prior post.

on other news from former mutts: today a hacker got into the colombian federation web site and posted a that el pibe was the new coach of colombia!

on the true side: recall alejandro Sequeira? well he played the final game in guatemala's championship for Principes de Coban (blue kit), lost the final to Municipal on a freekick on injury time!

Mauricio ramos, still plays in bolivia, pro soccer.
