Rowdies, Cosmos to renew rivalry

Hoping for a sell out. A win this Saturday would both renew this Rivalry the right way and extend our winning streak to four. Opening the Fall season with two wins in a row would be really nice.

 

Winning at home before the finale would be a nice start for sure.

 

I have a good feeling that this game is going to be at or close to a sell-out. It will be interesting to see if after the game, the Howard Frankland clogs up with New York fans retreating back to Tampa.

Like after the Rays beat the Yankees.

I think it'll be a tough one for the Cosmos, we have a pice missing on defense Roversio who was to be our starting center back, he has not gotten a work visa yet, he will have to go back to Portugal and straighten that out. We had a though time against Fort Lauderdale at home, so I expect Rowdies will be tougher having scored 7 last game. Do you guy have any injuries or players out?
The strongest play for the Cosmos comes from the mid field so I expect a good game, I wish I could have been there.

 

Nano, our defense can be beat with speed. If the Cosmos make good runs, they can expose that to their advantage.

 

I don't know if Gio Savarese knew this already, but at the beginning of the game up until about the 30 min the Cosmos looked like the aggressors, having had a couple of great chances. After that however we dodged some bullets. Let's see what happens the second half. This stream through the NASL site is very good!

 

Once again, we are back to our typical 2013 home form. No wins at ALF except against the pathetic Strikers. I feel like we were lucky to get out last night with a draw, the Restrepo saved the club's bacon several times. The team looks flat at home. Mulholland shows passion (sometimes too recklessly) but everyone else seems in La-la land for long stretches. If Hill can't get wins at home, then we won't have a chance to go to Atlanta.

 

We'll get there. This season is going to come down to the wire, just list the Spring. The Cosmos have a ton of talent, and they showed signs of becoming dominant later in the year. The Rowdies did not play well (and no, that didn't have much to do with the Cosmos, sorry), but what else is new at Al Lang this season?
