why are they not sending the ball in the box? Jozy been standing in there waiting for service. his head must be really itching.

Edmilson replaces Jozy. Good work from Altidore but no goals.

YB to go straight 4-5-1 as Edmilson and his highly entertaining running man warm up entere the match in place of Joze

Please refrain from being unnecessarily pedantic.

You know what's sick? I read that entire sentence with a lisp. I should go find something else to do now.

this is one of those games you say he neither helped nor hurt his chances on continuing to play.... BUt if Nihat, Franco, Rossi are all 100% it'll still be tough to get into the side....

I'd agree. He looked much more dangerous in the first half, but then the entire team did. I suspect that was a tactical shift initiated at the half. He certainly didn't look out of place out there.

So is Jozy now stuck with Villa for the rest of the season?

Cygan gives up a penalty with a late tug.

Yeah, I think Jozy is an insurance policy right now and the loan decision will be a last minute thing. Still, good to see him logging some quality minutes. Of the Nats Dempsey, Cherundelo, Howard, Bradley, Bocanegra, and Gooch are the only regular starters. Beasley is a sub, and Jozy gets some playing time due to the quality depth of his squad and the number of high level matches played by Villareal. Not a bad way to start his career in Europe.

Pellegrini showing he is overrated as coach...the right sub was Orange Traffic Cone for Cygan....

Oh, and Dude, Villa is not the preferred nomenclature. VCF, please.

The wheels seem to have fallen off the bus for VCF after Jozy left. Coincidence? You decide.

According to current theories of cosmology, there should be another universe among all the multiverses where Rossi and Altidore are both playing for the US NT and have resolved all questions about who our two starters should be up top in South Africa in 2010. If anyone finds a wormhole to said universe, please post. :)

Sorry I missed it -- I didn't expect a stream, and GolTV didn't have it.

As for the can-he-be-loaned-now questions, no one really knows.
