good point. though it's telling what quality can do with Switzerland/Scotland/Denmark/Austria having 10 teams as opposed to Norway/Sweden with 16. Even Germany has 18 teams along with Turkey and the Netherlands
Sounds like Silkeborg's coach reached out to Klinsmann and Jurgen recommended Rubio: http://www.bt.dk/fodbold/silkeborg-lytter-til-klinsmann-snupper-amerikansk-angrebstalent

I really like RR's mature response to the question regarding "relaunching his career". It would have easy to dodge that question or deny his career needs a relaunch. The kid knows what's at stake. His head is in the right place. Good for him. I am confident he can turn it around.
He's always been really honest whenever his career is a rough patch. He's never sugarcoated things but has also never come across as depressed. I've never received a cliche answer from him He's one of the more level-headed and thoughtful young players you'll find.
Finishing clearly is a weakness. He's technical and has a pretty high football-IQ but he is in a rut when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net.
I never thought EJ was technically solid. He ran in a straight line and attempted nothing but step overs and his creativity and crossing left a lot to be desired. EJ was very strong in the air and was serviceable against CONCACAF level competition. I think Rubin is a much more talented overall player than EJ.
SIF beat Hobro 4-0 in a friendly. Rubin didn't play. I think he wasn't with the team yet. http://www.silkeborgif.com/nyheder/.../10/overbevisende-sif-sejr-i-sidste-testkamp/
He's got the #20, not the #18 as he had with Utrecht. So, perhaps, maybe this time they see him more as an AM than as a striker. It'd be a blessing.
