Maybe instead of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, he should be inducted into the starting lineup. He can't do any worse than what we are see out there right now.
Brings back a time when the Quakes had forwards who could score in the air, on the ground, and probably at sea! Cerritos, although often overshadowed by the flavor-of-the-month in the press (Azizi, Donovan, Ching, etc.), was a consistently superb performer for the Clash/Quakes. Excellent choice. Am I mistaken, or is it just he and Doyle? I can def. think of several others (Dayak, Barrett and (eventually) Cannon immediately come to mind) who are deserving of this as well.

I was complaining about this in the offseason, but considering they induct slowly, better than never. I wish I would have brought the teal striped jersey with his name/# when I had the chance. Rrrr.
Quakes also made a vid of his best goals, which you can see here. GRANDE RONALD! Please have him more involved in this franchise in the future, PLEASE!
one of my favorite Ronald Cerritos moments was the 2001 playoff home game again Miami right after 9/11 , ronald scores a goal runs towards the press box side of the field and pulls up his jersey and he has an American flag on his tshirt and pounded his heart to show his appreciation for the usa. Awesome moment
Muy bien, well deserved. Whenever I see a forward rushing up to pressure a keeper I think of him and his work rate. I remember once at Spartan Stadium when they would kick balls into the stands after halftime, I jumped up and yelled Ronald's name and he booted the ball a good distance, landing just one seat away from me, like that commercial where the megastars call the row and seat of their kick.
Ronald Cerritos was the main reason for me and my family to start attending the Quakes matches, the rest is history...
Congrats Ronald! Our family loved him. Just a great professional and was a pleasure to watch play. Very much a team player. I guess what amazed me the most was his ability in the air even though he wasn't the tallest player. Also, why is talking so long to add others? Especially NASL Quakes! Come on...
