Man didn’t know he made it to the top flight in Sweden!! Excellent perseverance from the guy. Definitely pulling for him. Wonder if him, Amon, and Sabbi hang out

Uh, Sundsvall is like 600 miles from Hobro or Farum, where Nordsjaelland is. And in a different country.

Hobro and Farum are about 230 miles apart.

So I doubt they get together very often.

That’s three goals in five appearances this season! The dude is on fire. Always liked his skill on the ball but was pretty raw before. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Excellent goal by Gall. Not many players in the pool that can score like that.

Five LEAGUE games. He also has an assist in league play.

And two goals and an assist in three cup games in 2018 for Gall.

Gall's run of success with Sundsvall hasn't gone unnoticed, with some clubs from bigger leagues already beginning to show interest in the French-born midfielder. Right now Gall is focused on Sundsvall, which is currently unbeaten in all competition in 2018, but he is hoping to catch the eye of one team in particular: the U.S. national team.

Good on him for not giving up when it would've been easy to.

He and his team are going on the road tomorrow to face league leaders Hammarby. Seems like a big game so I'm sure there will be a way to stream it.

Looks like he scored 2 more. They were down 4-0 in the 2nd and closed it to 4-3:

Goal! Gall reduces for Sundsvall. The ball steers in via Björn Paulsen and the away team is now only two goals after Hammarby.

Goal! Gall score again after a long throw-in. Sundsvall is close to a mad pickup.

Nice I hope he keeps firing them off. From USL to the Swedish 2nd div to the Swedish 1st div, hopefully he can move to a higher profile league next season.

Keep doing your thing Romain! Dude is on fire and has earned his accolades. Classic example of putting your head down, focusing, sucking up some pride, and persevering. I know the article linked above has his quotes but I encourage you to listen to the same interview on SBI Soccer's podcast. You can really hear Romain's humility and honesty. A very good head on his shoulders. Great story and I'm rooting for him.

Ya I remember him being one of the most impressive players on that team. Glad he's found a spot playing consistently and being a key player for his club in the Allsvenskan.

All of the sudden we got some legit prospects on the wings we haven't had in YEARS... Amon and Gall tearing it up in Scandinavia not to mention leading MLS ROY candidate Mueller tearing it up in MLS! Hopefully guys like Sabbi, Weah, Rubin, etc can work on their final ball and join the first two and contribute like them.

But do I expect to play four natural attackers up front for the US any time soon? Nah... Sarachan will probably stick Nagbe out wide and play four center mids:rolleyes:
