    what a shame we lost today, the best i have seen Maritimo play, the stadium sounded like the good old days cracking atmosphere in the ground.
    we had so many chances to put the game to bed and in the end we went down to 10 men as our keeper got stretchered of and our defender had to go in goal and braga got the goal in the 95th minute

    Official Portugal vs Sweden at Estádio dos Barreiros, Maritimo (Madeira) on the 28th of March. Portugal will play Hungary in a WC qualification 3 days before (25th) at the Estádio da Luz (Lisbon). This is the first game in Madeira since 28th February 2001 which was in homage to Luis Figo and in which Portugal beat Andorra 3-0.

    :( Going to Madeira later this month (January) and in September so won't be able to see Portugal at home. Btw, the capacity is now 10600 (total population in Madeira about 289 000). And Barreiros is now a Class 1 stadium, looks :cool:

    Bernardo Silva considered, by far, the best player in Ligue 1 this season. He wasn't even in the squad when we won the Euro.

    I am confident Portugal can win in 2018.

    the stadium been rocking the last few home games i put that down to to fans being really close to the to pitch side, plus the fans starting turning up to games. we are 6th for the most average % fans for home games in the league behind the top 3 than Vitoria de Guimaraes and just very close behind Braga, i'm sure the stadium going to be full to the rafters for the Sweden game.

    Even though he is playing well, I do not like the hype, I guess I do not want him to crack under too much pressure. And PLEASE! do not go to Man Utd, hopefully he will be able to swivel out of that one, I would much rather him go to PSG than there.

    Talk about the best ticket in town. Really glad and I am almost surely leaving England in the next 2 years, ideally the last day the United Kingdom is in the EU. We must meet before I go. The good thing is that I will be in Barreiros, in Madeira and outside the Trump/May Axis Powers II. Guess you have kids and are staying?

    Was planning to leave anyway but just brought it forward. I refuse to get a British passport and depending on the deal I might have to or start paying for a visa, which is expensive and has many clauses attached, plus do not know how long I can wind up all the Brexiteers at work and get away with it :ROFLMAO:. For Americans/Canadians Brexiteers pretty much = Trump supporters.
