Nah, WC gives Loew immunity for another year though I'll never understand his man-crush with Bellarabi and why former mancrush Mustafi gets no time after the WC.

I thought Bellarabi showed more than Schurrle or Draxler over the course of these two matches. He's got potential.

The choices I don't understand are Rudiger and not inlcuding any CF or CM players besides Kroos.

Durm was at fault for all 3 goals conceded by Germany over the two matches.

Even though I think Durm was weak, He made a crucial block that denied the Irish an equalizer earlier

He had a decent match defensively up until the goal was scored. Honestly with Rudiger and Durm on the pitch we may as well play with 9 men.

Only a Spanish coach can save Germany from conceding late goals. Germany players are incapable of cheating and wasting time

Right now the reigning world cup champions are a laughing stock..under the old euro qualifying set up Germany would not get through with the garbage the dfb/low is putting on the pitch...still, with the new euro set up they face an uphill battle..

Without Ozil & Schweinsteiger the team lacks any inventiveness in advanced midfield

And especially with Kroos in holding midfield the play is very lateral. Kroos does a great job of running the game but who is offering variation in attack around the D? Kroos can't do everything.

I much preferred the 3 man midfield with Kroos and Khedira able to get forward and play through the centre.

At least Reus coming back with fix the horrible left flank.

I've never seen a team deteriorate under a coach as fast as it currently happens under Löw. No creativity, no spark. He is as clueless as he's been up to the moment when Mustafi injured himself against Algeria.

Why is Podolski still with the team? He rides the pine at Arsenal for a reason and has scored meager four goals in his last 37 international appearances! The last time he hit the back of the net in an official match was in June 2012 during the European Championship. Lasogga or Kießling can't possibly be any worse. Löw's favoritism is infuriating.

This is a terrible team and Löw's pathetic excuses concerning the after-effects of the World Cup win and a few injured players have become tiresome.

More bad results?, againts Gibraltar and Georgia?, seriously?
Coz Rudiger is better than Mustafi
Lucky German, or lucky Loew, there will be 24 participants at Euro'16
Yes agree, why there is no Sebastian Jung and Lars Bender?
Time to try another RB, LB and stricker?, Hope Loew will use the chances againts Gibraltar, Georgia, and Spain before Sep-Okt'15 Germany wil face Polland, Scotland, and Ireland again

Poor result, But lets not overreact

The team was missing a lot of starters and with that much changes we would struggle. Rudiger, Durm, Bellarabi, Ginter would take time to bed in.

I am not worried yet. We would make the Euros and get another easy win

Well that is exaggerating a bit.

A number of key players are injured who presumably would be in the running

    Reus
    Ozil
    Schurrle
    Schweinsteiger
Not to mention Kramer, not sure what is up with Khedira

And Reus is apparently fit again as is Gundogan (early days) and of course Sven Bender

So there is still a lot to be positive about - and Germany had to lose a game eventually.

The good thing is we now know this is not going to be another of those "unbeatable for years to-come" periods. And where are all those great "fans" now who were gladly showing up here during summer?

Let's be fair. With all the injuries and retirenments, these are the best choices. It is a young, inexperienced and uncohesive team. Goetze & Draxler are overhyped players and will never be what we want them to be. Once Reus, Ozil (if he gets his head straight again), Khedira, Bastian and Gundogan are back we will be fine. I hope some good comes out of this, mainly having 1 or 2 true CFs in the team. Possession with inability to score is a waste...

I think in general there is a bit of a lack of quality in the offense at the moment compared to Brazil

It seems to depend completely on Mueller scoring

Also Gundogan coming back will give another hope
We'll see who players from U21 that will be callep up by Loew
I think still there are players outside U21 for stricker, RB, LB, DM that qualify for NT

Its just hard to understand why Mueller, Goetze Draxler are all playing at once - that is 3 10s not to mention Kroos

Then the midfield was shown to be too light as soon as Ireland started to push for the equaliser

I'm concerned, but not panicked at this point. We're world champions still, and we know we can win. The problem is the squad without Klose, Schweinsteiger, Oezil, Khedira, and Lahm is too young, too naive. Too many changes, particularly in fullbacks and midfield, sometimes makes for rough sailing unfortunately.

I think now people understands the importance of playing Howedes as LB in World Cup rather playing Durm

I am still very calm. They'll figure things out soon. But yeah, seems like honeymoon is already over.
