England doesnt matter to us. We take our glee from mugging off the Dutch, French, Italians and more recently: the Spaniards.

I was in Cologne during WC 2006 before the England-Sweden game. I got on a tram with a horde of English fans chanting football's coming home all the way to the stadium. AND there were too a few, more reserved, Swedish fans. In a short moment of silence one rather drunk English fan yelled in the direction of them: “SWEDEN!!! GIVE US A SONG!!!” Silence. Then, from the backside of the tram, a tender voice started singing:

    “Knowing me, knowing you…ah aaa…”

I think that was the day when English football died.

That's just great lol. Genuinely can't stop giggling about this.

I also can't be the only one who read that and kept singing along to the song.

It sounds like Dunga officially replaced Filipao. It's so odd.

Depends on if Dunga has learned or not, I actually think he did reasonably well with them last time as he gave them a very strong organization in pressing and tactical fluidity, he just needs to be able to do that while relying on more creative players and play than in 2010. I'm curious to see how that goes, though it does seem like a sacrifice being lead to the slaughter at the next copa, after which their long term target would be brought in.
