Hope that he can bring order to the team, honestly Fenafuth should just let him take over the U20 to get to know the youth and pick his project players.
I heard he's a yes man. At Uruguay he neglected Nacional youth players whom were The South American Youth CL champs. They say cuz he coached Peñarols Youth.. Whom are their rival.. So I'm a skeptic.. But hopefully he proves me wrong.

He should have tried to go to another MLS B team, ATL is way too stacked and even if he does well him getting a chance with the 1st team outside of the Open Cup games is slim to none.
It seems like they're just placing him there for the moment. After the U20 World Cup, he'll probably be gone again.

Latvia has a calendar year season and only 8 clubs in the top level. Clubs play every opponent 4 times for 28 games. In 2018, Spartaks Jurmala was fifth with 42 points and +11. The bottom three clubs were very bad. The sixth place club had 21 points and -29. The bottom club had 8 points and -70, which is -2.5 per game. The 2019 season starts on March 9. Out of 55 countries in the UEFA country coefficients, Slovenia is 31st and Latvia is 42nd. Slovenia had NK Maribor reach the Champions League Group Stage in 2 of the last 5 seasons. I don't know if a Latvian club has ever reached the Champions League Group Stage.
Yea Latvia simply isn't an ideal spot to start your European career as a promising 21 yr old midfielder. He should stay at Platense.. He'll probably transfer to a bigger Honduran team like Olimpia, who wants him, that has a more proven track record to export players than Jurmala. At the very least a good Olympics performance lands him a team abroad. He's a projected Olympic starter by all accounts.
Speaking of 2020 Tokyo Olympics.. Its been reported that Coito will manage the Olympic team(U23) throughout Qualifiers. Honduras will enter the tourney as one of the favorites to qualify for the Tokyo Games. Deep talent pool with a plethora of experience.
