Uruguayan Federico Valverde was awarded today with the Silver Ball the second best player of the World Cup Sub-20 in which his team finished in the fourth place after falling by penalties before the selection of Italy.

The midfielder, who played this season in Castilla, in Second Division B, was the figure of Uruguay, who finished fourth in the competition.

Guti one of the most underappreciated players in real madrid history, good to see hes still making history with the team

Was just looking at the review of Castilla's first match on Managing Madrid, and they had a go at Solari and his tactics. They mentioned how players are suffering under him.

To the people who watched them regularly last year, is that a valid concern?

They had the same concern last season.

He'll be gone soon and Guti will take over.

Will be interesting too, as Castilla is a tougher test than U19s, even Zizou struggled.

This was the number one problem all season long. It was causing as lot of issues with players as they were being played out of position during crucial times in their development and suffering because of it.

It was beyond frustrating at times how poor our attacking part of our game was.

Hmm, there is some nice talent coming up from the U19s. Would hate for it to be wasted in such a situation.

Can't they still appoint him during the season if Solari fails to get the team performing well?, get rid of Solari and hire Guti for the post

The mismanagement of Sergio Diaz is a prime example of this. Solari insisted on playing him on the wing instead of through the center as a striker or second striker, even though his performance level dramatically dropped after the change in position. Really bad for Sergio's development.

This is likely to happen if Castilla continues to disappoint. I don't understand why we didn't pull the trigger this summer.

Real Madrid's Juvenil A side are currently out in Dortmund as part of a ten-team pre-season tournament for academy sides, reaching the last four with Brazilian midfielder Augusto Galvan the star of the group stage.

Coming from Sao Paulo only a few months ago, the 18-year-old grabbed two goals in a 4-0 win over Monaco.

That came after a 0-0 stalemate with Rapid Vienna, 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich and a single goal victory over Schalke 04 as Inaki provided the winning strike.

Augusto is hoping to make the leap to the second-string Real side, Castilla, as quickly as possible and can look to impress in Sunday's semi-final versus Ferencvaros.

The winner will face Borussia Dortmund or Schalke in the final.

We snapped up this 13 year old a few days ago from Real Betis. He was a talking point when we were buying Ceballos as they're represented by the same agency.

Looks to be "decently" tall :D Apparently he drew the attention of a lot of clubs a year ago in the La Liga Promises tournament. He scored against us, Ronaldo style haha.

EDIT: Okay,I just watched the vid. He destroyed our youth team. Also really unlucky with crossbars. The kid seems to be one of those rare strikers with technique like Benzema,Dybala and Messi(while he played ST).
